Twitter Assigned The Hoffman Agency For PR In Singapore And The Asia Pacific Hub

Twitter (NYSE: TWTR), the American microblogging and social networking service, assigned The Hoffman Agency as a public relations agency for Singapore and the Asia Pacific hub. This agency has been tasked with building Twitter’s brand presence in Singapore and will serve as the Asia hub for Twitter’s communications efforts in markets across the APAC region, with a specific focus in both corporate and consumer relations. Twitter users post and interact with messages known as “tweets”.
Larry Loh, Twitter’s head of Communications, who was recently appointed, said the brand is looking to further raise awareness in the region with The Hoffman Agency providing strategic counsel, driving content development, and spearheading its media and stakeholder engagement programs, including working with global content partnerships team based in South Korea to highlight Twitter as the platform where public conversations such as #Kpop takes place.
Caroline Hsu, APAC managing director for The Hoffman Agency, mentioned that the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region continues to be an engine of growth, she said: “With eight offices and counting in the region, we have built up a finely tuned team of experts.”
Before working with The Hoffman Agency, Twitter had 3-year cooperation with agency Golin, working for the APAC Hub and helping tell the story of Twitter’s comeback in the region, Only a handful of global consumer internet companies have ever successfully completed a turnaround.
