Prestige Brand Award winners and Organizer

1. The “China Top 10 Leading Brands Award” is an invitation-only category. Jointly identified and recommended by Lianhe Zaobao and China’s Brand Consultants on the basis of current research, the committee has chosen the first batch of 10 outstanding brands to receive this award.

2. The “Prestige Brand Award” is an open category under which brands can participate freely. There are two categories for the Prestige Brand Award, namely, the “China Prestige Brand — Gold Award” and the “Asia Prestige Brand Award”. Each category has a set of criteria to measure brand performance, and qualified brands that have achieved good results in the Chinese market are awarded.

Established in 2002, SPBA is an award jointly organized by the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME) and Lianhe Zaobao. Marking its 18th year, the SPBA (“the Award”) has become an esteemed emblem of success that is recognized by the government, businesses, academic institutions, and the media. The Award has recognized and honored more than 450 Singaporean brands that have been effectively developed and managed through various branding initiatives.

This year, SPBA has introduced the Award to the Chinese market in hopes of providing a solid and dynamic platform for recognizing brands that have done well in China. By leveraging the prestige of the Award, SPBA hopes that brands in both the Chinese and Singapore markets can share relevant market expertise. SPBA also look forward to cementing strong friendships between the business communities in both countries.

Goh Sin Teck, Chief Editor of Lianhe Zaobao

Mr. Goh Sin Teck, Chief Editor of Lianhe Zaobao, said, “We are excited and honored to be able to select esteemed brands in the vibrant Chinese market for our award. Launching the China Top 10 Leading Brands Award and the Prestige Brand Award, reminiscent of Singapore’s SPBA launch 18 years ago, we seek to provide a platform for all brands that believe in devoting themselves to building the intangible assets of their enterprise, acknowledging their brand strategies, implementation, and efforts behind their success. Moreover, we also want to witness a difference. Brand leaders in the field and in the market can get together to exchange ideas and observe each other. Finally, we hope to consolidate the friendly relations between China and Singapore in this process and to create more opportunities for cooperation.
